Our Story
Dunnit Dexters started out in 2015 as a college fund for Jessica with just a single cow. Since then it has expanded into a 20 plus cow operation. It is run by Jessica and Adam Emery on their farm in Carlinville Illinois. They specialize in the dun color but pride their selves on raising quality cattle of all colors.
Show Cows
At Dunnit Dexters we love showing and we are working to improve our show line every year. We are focused on making great animals that are sure to impress but still stay within the Dexter Cattle breed guidelines. If you are looking to get into showing or expanding your show line we have got the cows for you!
Milk Cows
We strive to breed not just show quality animals but animals with great udder structure and milk production. We pick the heifers and cows that exhibit the best milking qualities and run them through our milking training before they are sold. They become accustomed to hand milking and machine milking.
Beef Cattle
Every year we have some young steers available for purchase. They can be sold as either registered or unregistered. Dexter beef is extremely high quality with its rich red color and marbling that rivals Wagyu. If you are looking to raise the steaks on you herd or your dinner menu check out our selection.
